You’re welcome to stay wherever works for you, but we recommend staying between La Jolla and Encinitas. Keep in mind that San Diego does not have significant public transit options, so factor that into your travel plans. Most of the coastal cities (Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff, Leucadia) will have great options for food and activities within walking distance.

Please note that bus transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the reception for those who will be using Uber or Lyft to get to the chapel.

La Jolla Cove - Tide pools, caves, and tons of sea lions, a great place to rent kayaks or snorkel on a warm day

Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD), La Jolla - Great exhibits right on the coast

Self-Realization Fellowship Hermitage and Meditation Gardens, Encinitas - A beautiful stroll, right by Swami’s beach

Glider Port, La Jolla - Great spot to picnic and watch people paragliding

Little Italy Farmer’s Market - Grab some food and then stroll down to the waterfront in Downtown
